Roatan Restaurants

A great part of staying in West End is getting to know some of its many restaurants, bars, and eateries. From a quick gelato or a baleada after your first dive, to full course meals on decks over the water, there is something for every appetite and taste. Many places specialize in local seafood dishes like king crab, coconut shrimp, or lobster. Some of our favorite places are below.

Argentinean Grill

One of the best restaurants on Roatan, it features great grilled steaks and chops, sausage, and seafood. Overlooking Half Moon Bay this popular restaurant has excellent service and atmosphere, and a good wine menu. Meals begin around $12.

Half Moon Bay Cabins Restaurant

Specializing in king crab and other seafood, this well established restaurant faces Half Moon Bay and is great for sunset dining. Meals come with coconut bread, salad, and a great local atmosphere. Meals are around $12.

Cannibal Cafe

The café features interesting Mexican food with a Honduran flair. The laid back atmosphere is enjoyable and the food excellent. Try the burritos and chimichangas. It’s just a minute from West End Divers and there is a “VIP” deck upstairs for dining under the stars. Meals begin at around $10.

Chapi Catrachas:

Quick and tasty local eats like baleadas, pastelitos, or spicy tostadas. You have to try them, and you can’t beat breakfast for a buck! The fried chicken is outstanding. Meals start at about a dollar.
